I have been hearing about this center from my relatives for many years. My Korean is limited so I can't understand the details. However, I had visited once and seen for myself a peculiar phenomenon in which meditators seem to have profuse nasal dripping while sitting.

I was also told that the Abbot gives you a sort of "ki" when giving you a koan tailored for the individual.

Anyone have experience there?

Isn't that the one in In-Sa_Dong? Hmmm ... maybe not.

If it's the place i'm thinking of, there's an English dharma book store / library there as well.

Metta.

It's in Gahoe-dong, Chong No Gu. Same vicinity so it could be.
