I currently live in Queens, and was hoping that someone may be able to point me in the right direction to learn about Nichiren in NYC...

Thanks in advance.

What group are you interested in? I'm pretty sure all Nichiren sects are represented in NY.

I don't really know. I am trying to learn more about Nichiren, so any and/or all would work I guess.

Do you mean Nichiren the person; or the practice? Both?

definitely do your research as well into which nichiren school, sect, or themed sect you identify most/agree with....

also i would suggest contacting the groups/temples and maybe going to an introductory or small local meeting as well and interact with members.

Dibblebibble's advice is spot on. This is best way to learn about a Buddhist group- you never know until you try.
