The only one precept of the Lotus practice is to uphold the Lotus Sutra,

it is derived from the Chapter 11 of Lotus Sutra ' The Emergency of the Treasure Tower '

QUOTE
This sutra is hard to uphold;
if one can uphold it even for a short while
I will surely rejoice
and so will the other Buddhas.
A person who can do this
wins the admiration of the Buddhas.
This is what is meant by valor,
this is what is meant by diligence.
This is what is called observing the precepts
and practicing dhuta
( discipline or ascetic practice ).

Lotus Sutra , page 180-181 , Watson translation

受持“南无妙法莲华经”一戒。《法华经·见宝塔品:“此经难持,若暂持者,我即欢喜,诸佛亦然。如是之人,诸佛所叹,是则勇猛,是则精进,是名持戒,行头头陀者。”

It is also known as the Diamond Precept or Precept of the Diamond Chalice
( Ch. 金剛宝器戒, (Jp. Kongo-Hoki-Kai ) .
In the BrahmaNet Sutra, which states, " This precept of the diamond chalice is the source of all Buddhas, the source of all bodhisattvas, and the seed of the Buddha nature. "

ha-ha yana
The four Bodhisattva vows, characteristic of all Mahayana traditions

No matter how numerous all living beings may be, I vow to save all of them.

No matter how inexhaustible desire is, I vow to extinguish all of it. (the qualitative transformation of it)

No matter how immense the Dharmas are, I vow to master all of them.

No matter how incomparable the Buddha's truth is, I vow to achieve it.

I think you mean "emergence" here. "Emergency" is a totally different concept biggrin.gif

But, this is a good topic. Whenever I meet people that feel overwhelmed by the 5 precepts and 6 paramitas, I explain to them that upholding the Lotus Sutra is our prime practice and that seems to make them relieved. Not that it is easier, it just seems that way I guess. laugh.gif

Shikimyo, Thanks it my typo error, would you mind make a correction for me?

Yes, I do encountering many time hard to explain this to others in this concept in full, hence I think it's good to make a post here for future reference.
