I read or heard from someone at the Nichren Shu , or Shoshu , cant recall ..
That they were not advised to chant with someone from lets say SGI ...
My thoughts on this ...

If one desires to help attain and contribute to kosen rufu ,and for personal prospect ,and the happiness for all living beings ..
And does the same daimoku ..i.e. nam myoho renge kyo ..the nwhy is this discouraged ?
Since we all wish to attain buddha hood in time and we all have our own wishes ..

Is this really a matter of that importance ? or is this just something that is founded in predjudice or whatsoever ?

its just that i cant grasp the meaning of it ....

I think the key is not so much of being chanting together , but which sect is leading the group during the chanting , as the Doshi

But when sometime ago, one of the Japanese emperor in bestowal the title to Nichiren as Risho Daishi ( Great Teacher of Establishing the Correct Teaching ) , there was a photo evident that shows all the high priests or respresentives of the various Nichiren sects came together and chanted together in the same ceremony.
( Well, I think in that occasion , they are willing to lead by that sect who has championed to obtained this title ? )
